Gummy Bear Sponge Cake

My godson, J, wanted to eat only the gummy bears.  Ling baked the sponge cake and decorated with those gummy bears.  

Cut the cake into 8 pieces with a gummy bear on it so that little J wont eat all at once!

Rainbow Sponge Cake 彩虹松糕

Time flies, another year to celebrate Ling's mother-in-law's birthday and she is 72 this year.  Last year was Strawberry Short Cake that she baked.

This year, Ling baked her a rainbow sponge cake.

Lady Bug Cupcakes 瓢蟲杯子蛋糕

One of my good friends, Serene and family are back from Paris for vacation. Linda has organised all buddies to get-together at a chalet.
Rest of the buddies and I decided to give both Linda & Serene a surprise birthday celebration, so I asked Ling helps to bake cupcakes and have lady bug as the theme.  I managed to hands-on the fondant today :)  Ling's pleased with her work too.
Both ladies were glad of this little surprise and like the fondant decoration as well.

La Bi Xiao Xin Rainbow Sponge Cake 蠟筆小新彩虹松糕

Ling's daughter likes this Japanese manga, animation of this 5yo character Crayon Shin-Chan (クレヨンしんちゃん), La Bi Xiao Xin.
She decided to bake her daughter this cake for her 10th birthday today.

Hello Kitty Rainbow Sponge Cake 吉蒂貓彩虹松糕

The popular fictional character Hello Kitty ~ ハローキティ is back in action!
Ling's baked this Hello Kitty cake and present to our good friend, Diana whose's celebrating her birthday today.

Coffee Sponge Cake 咖啡松糕

A simple coffee sponge cake baked by Ling's mum today.

Cocoa Sponge Cake 可可粉松糕

Ling's mum likes to bake and cook during her leisure. 

Aunty baked 2 flavours of  sponge cakes, namely cocoa and coffee.

The cocoa sponge cake tastes nicely compared to coffee flavour.
