Raisin Scone 葡萄乾司康

Let me recall, the last scone I ate was at least 6 years ago which didn't last me a good impression.  Probably, those were 'leftover' scones.  (oopss, it's during my F&B area of work).

Ling has just baked the raisin scones and I tried.  It's totally different, as it's freshly baked and tasted so nice!

Little Mushroom & French Toast Bento

This morning, my god-daughter has to attend the art project which she first attend last Saturday.

I have prepared for her and her good friend ~ R, 2 sets of french toast and side with sausages.

Lovely Figure Sandwiches

Today, my god-daughter has school excursion to Singapore Discovery Centre after her usual lessons; another long day for her.

She decided to bring along bento for the afternoon; too many items added to her usual super heavy school bag, have decided to pack for her and her good friend ~ R, a very plain box of food contains of  figure sandwiches, waffle cookies and GardeniaTwiigies Choc-A-Lot.

Glad that I could make use of the facial expression & 'happy' wording imprint which I bought from 100yen shop in Malaysia on these sandwiches.

Little Frog, Rabbit & Bear Sandwich Bento

Last evening, my god-daughter has requested to have a bento as she has to attend Maths trail @ Terminal 3 this afternoon.
I took out these 3 little cute bread cutters which Ling bought me as my birthday gift last winter.

Have decided to wake up early this morning to prepare a simple charaben for her, but I was 'OVERSLEPT'!
Fortunately, Ling woke up much earlier and manage to prepare nutella & tuna sandwiches for her daughter instead.

She shared with her classmate R who was amazed with the little imprints on the sandwiches.

Pandan Bread

Had a quick grocery shopping at NTUC Fairprice last evening and bought a loaf of Bonjour Pandan Bread. 

This morning, I prepared 2 sets of bento boxes for my god-daughter (top) and myself (bottom).

The pandan bread was nice and I added cheese on it.  Also prepared some sausages and took the chocolate chip cupcake that Ling baked yesterday.

Lovely Toast Bread

My sweety god-daughter was home with me this evening and wanted something to munch.  She had a lousy and tired day, so I decided to prepare this "lovely" toast bread to brighten her.

Bought the inedible "eyes" and added into the smiley hashbrowns.

Smiley Cheese Fishballs & Soy Beans

Was going through the food picks collection last evening and realised there're still numerous new food picks yet being used. 
This morning, I prepared for myself this bento which filled with some butter sandwich, cheese fishballs and soy beans.

"Fruity" Sandwich

It's been almost a month since I started work, nothing "colourful" / "fruitful", so today, I decided to prepare a simple "fruity" sandwich for my breakfast.

A new item to start with this month ~ ~ ~ heard of Pandan Kaya Bread without "kaya"???

Yes, recipe that has pandan juices but no kaya at all!

Simple Egg Mayonnaise Sandwiches

Ling prepared this egg mayonnaise sandwiches for her hubby's breakfast.  Today, no request from her dearest princess, she just had a small portion of this sandwich before school.

Ling used Glico Pocky Strawberry Sticks (hair) and smiley nori punchers (expression).

Time flies 时间不饶人!  Another Monday morning ~~~ After the long weekend, a fresher day to start with a simple egg mayonnaise with veggies, mini sandwiches with butter spread and some fruits.

This is my 7th day at work and managed to make this charaben.

It's no exception a busy Monday to move on for the rest of the week, lots of documents to be sorted out and I was home late again! (Missed the yummy pumpkin soup that Ling prepared today)

It's been awhile I have not worked longer hours for a 5day week, but simply enjoying this new environment.

Sausage Bun

Ling used the same dough from butter coconut buns to bake these delicious sausage buns.  Both her kids loves these home-baked buns.

C-O-C-O-NUT.... Yes ! Butter Coconut Buns ~~~ great recipe that Ling's found and she decided to bake the buns today. 

It has been awhile havent eaten this and now we have the home baked buns!

1st Bento @ Work ~~~ 自制"爱"心早餐 ~~~

Time flies, 4 months "honeymoon" at home and now back to work (a 5day week  short term job).

How to beat Monday Blues? ~~~~ Made a very simple bento to work. (cheer up myself)

Bought a small packet of "purple" bread from neighbourhood bakery, it's vanilla & chocolate cream spread and it taste nice.

Using one of my favourite bento boxes - Little Twin Stars - Manged to add "little hearts" using of nori on the bread, added a piece of snowskin green tea mooncake made by Diana and some biscuits for tea break.  The snowskin green tea mooncake taste nice, not too sweet.

  

Chocolate Bread

Bought this chocolate bread from a neighbourhood bakery stall over the weekend.  It's soft and taste good but it's too plain for my god-daughter.

After school, the usual activities is to complete her homework.  "Boring" session for a active girl like her, so I made this simple sandwich for her "tea break".
