Fruit Tarts ~ Special Request

It seems lots of people like fruit tarts with freshly cut fruits.  We received a special request for more pieces of tarts topped with mangoes and the rest with mixed fruits.
The family members given a positive comment for the tarts.  Thank you, Linda.

M4SB Challenge & Giveaway Contest by Hapabento.com

I have missed Hapabento.com  contest entry in Aug, hope I'm in time to submit September entry.
Made use of mooncake storage casing to prepare for this entry and I brought it to work the next day ~ Fried rice with baked beans and minced chicken, red velvet cupcake, cheesy biscuit and some fruits.

Fruit Tarts

We have always loved fruit tarts, so today Ling is baking one.
This is her very 1st try on fruit tarts from baking the tart shells to the custard fillings.
The Verdict ?
The tarts are simply refreshing! *Her mother-in-law loves it.
My saliva is drooling simply by looking at it.  Especially, the ones with heaps of mangoes on it :) Hmm... yum yum... and when it goes into my mouth, it's simply Heaven!

Konnyaku こんにゃく

Been craving for Konnyaku past weeks and after the "nightmare" just now, I have decided to enlighten my day by making konnyaku as "Dessert of the Day".
Bought the Konnyaku Jelly Powder from neighbourhood mini-mart (there're different brands of konnyaku power, this was recommended by a friend) and used the various bento dishes trays instead of konnyaku moulds. Added some golden kiwi and canned fruits.

A little friend of us likes to eat this dessert, especially these various animals moulds of Konnyaku attracted her attention most. Will add "colours" on my next round.
