Chocolate Chip Cupcake ~ Hair Salon Theme

First of all, a big thank you to one of my best friends' sister, Michelle who has recommended us to Fen.

Fen has an invitation to a friend's opening of hair salon.  Michelle suggested Fen to browse  our blog and see if anything suitable as a gift.

Fen decided on chocolate flavour cupcakes and leave the decoration creativity to the baker ~ Ling.

I overslept last evening.  Had a shock when I woke up in the morning!  The fondant figurines (hair dryer, scissors, comb, eye shadows, nail polish) were great!

Finally, we handed the whole set of cupcakes to Fen.

Mango Mousse 芒果慕斯

Ling has made use of the additional mangoes to make mango mousse.

Chilled mango mousse was really good!

Mango Mousse Cake 芒果慕斯蛋糕

Early of the month, Ling has baked the mango mousse cake and is now back with 'popular demand'.

I grabbed a large piece right after dinner. (greedy!) 

Chocolate Butter Cake 巧克力奶油蛋糕

Not the ordinary butter cake that Ling baked, she has just baked Chocolate Butter Cake.

Everyone like it very much, it's moist! Unlike some butter cakes which are too dry.

Raisin Scone 葡萄乾司康

Let me recall, the last scone I ate was at least 6 years ago which didn't last me a good impression.  Probably, those were 'leftover' scones.  (oopss, it's during my F&B area of work).

Ling has just baked the raisin scones and I tried.  It's totally different, as it's freshly baked and tasted so nice!

Checkers & Marble Chocolate Cookies

Checkers & Marble Chocolate cookies were baked by Ling.

Not only the kids love the cookies, I took quite a fair bit too.  

Green Tea Chocolate Chip Cake 绿茶巧克力片蛋糕

Ling has baked another new flavour of cake ~ Green Tea Chocolate Chip Cake today!

This is another flavour of cake which I had yet tried.

Topped with green tea powder, munching on "crunchy" chocolate chips!  Wow, perfect!  

Gummy Bear Sponge Cake

My godson, J, wanted to eat only the gummy bears.  Ling baked the sponge cake and decorated with those gummy bears.  

Cut the cake into 8 pieces with a gummy bear on it so that little J wont eat all at once!

Nutella Sponge Cake

Most kids' favourite chocolate spread - Nutella, is nothing new to most of us, Ling has added to her freshly baked sponge cake.

Cranberry Cupcakes 酸果蔓杯子蛋糕

Ling's baked these sweet treats today for afternoon tea.

The kids don't really appreciate the cranberries which were added into the cupcakes.
