Teachers' Day 2011 教师节

Teachers' Day is celebrated on 1 Sept this year.  Teachers and students had a day off on the following day.

Our good friend, Diana had some friends' request for some gift packs to be presented to teachers.  Teamwork from both Diana & Ling who baked vanilla cupcakes & chocolate chip cookies. 

Both their children brought these goodies to their teachers as well.

Madeleines ~ Petite Madeleine 法式貝殼蛋糕

Ling's baked this tiny delicious, buttery cake ~~~ madeleines.

They're simply fantastic and just in time for afternoon tea.

Vanilla Cupcakes

It's been awhile I'd no opportunity to taste Ling's baking as I am on contract job for several months.

Ling has baked this favourite vanilla cupcakes today.  As usual, I am fond to eat and snap her creations.  LOL ~~~

Lovely Princess Cupcakes

Megan's 3rd Birthday coming Monday, Linda invited several good friends' to celebrate her sweetie princess's birthday at MacDonald's.
Ling made her these lovely cupcakes topped with edible princesses & dinosaurs.
She requested to have cupcakes as gifts for her friends, each family brought home a box of four.



 

Colourful Vanilla Cupcakes for Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Ling baked some colourful vanilla cupcakes for her dearest hubby's muslim colleague for Hari Raya.

She enhanced the colourful whipped cream toppings with various shapes and colours of sprinkles.

Another round of Vanilla Butter Cupcakes

Vanilla butter cupcakes seems like a "popular demand" these weeks, so we baked again today.  We used some new cupcakes liners for this round which we bought from Phoon Huat.
