Strawberry Shortcake Cake 草莓樂園蛋糕

Most of us should be familiar with Strawberry Shortcake, especially those with your lovely daughters who loves to own some of this characters items such as stationeries, bags, DVDs, etc.
Our good friend Diana's has baked a cake and some cupcakes for her lovely 4 years old daughter who'll be celebrating her birthday tomorrow.
Ling helped her by piping out the outline of the lovely character and placing strawberry gummies on the cupcakes.

Sponge Cupcake

It's our good friend Diana's sister birthday today and she's preparing some cupcakes, she brought over these sponge cupcakes for decoration.
Ling used the alphabets cutter to indicate birthday girl's name ~ Susie.
Trust Susie had a great celebration surprise party by the family.

Cai Kuih ~ Steamed Vegetable Crystal Skin Dumpling 菜糕

Ling's mum is in town recently and all of us missed her food so much.
Aunty loves to cook, bake and making traditional snacks during her leisure.
Today she's making this vegetable dumpling which is popular among the older generation, especially the Teochew & Hakka.
The soft chewy skin is nice made and wrapped with the stir fried "bangkuang char" ~ yam bean, carrot and garlic.

Chocolate Chip Cupcake with Icing & Fondant Figurines

Look out ... what's Ling's new cupcake creation.
Last Saturday, Ling bought this 2011 Wilton Year Book of Cake Decorating at Phoon Huat.  The contents are very interesting, the decorations are so cute, pretty, nice, adorable, etc.
Ling had spent hours on fondant moulding of a bear, tiger and an elephant.  She's preparing these figurines for a house warming invitation by her hubby's colleague.

There're some other icing figurines bought from various shops, she decorated on the cupcakes.
