Vintage Tea Party 茶会

Ling and I were invited to Vintage Tea Party hosted by Karen & Judy this afternoon.

K & J requested for some pastries and Ling baked Peach Cream Cheese Puff, Muffin, Butter Cake and Cupcakes for this occassion.

This vintage tea party was successful and vintage collectors have filled up their empty shopping bags with items that they like.

Golden Premix Muffins

It has been more than half a year Ling last baked the golden premix muffins with chocolate chips.

Today, she baked these muffins but didnt add anything toppings.

I was very full after dinner, but these new souffle cups that she recently used for chococlate chip cupcakes and these muffins attracted me.  Snapped some shots but didnt eat the muffin till much later.

Golden "Premix" Muffin

Ling baked muffins for the first time. She wanted it to be "fool-proof", so she used the "Golden Premix Muffin" (bought from http://www.phoonhuat.com/). It turned out quite good and the texture was moist & soft for a muffin.

For the kids, she added chocolate buttons and dried apricot for adults.
