Pandan Bread

Had a quick grocery shopping at NTUC Fairprice last evening and bought a loaf of Bonjour Pandan Bread.
This morning, I prepared 2 sets of bento boxes for my god-daughter (top) and myself (bottom).
The pandan bread was nice and I added cheese on it.  Also prepared some sausages and took the chocolate chip cupcake that Ling baked yesterday.

Lovely Toast Bread

My sweety god-daughter was home with me this evening and wanted something to munch.  She had a lousy and tired day, so I decided to prepare this "lovely" toast bread to brighten her.
Bought the inedible "eyes" and added into the smiley hashbrowns.

Ham & Hotdog Pizza

Yes.  Pizza is every kids favourite food.
Ling's daughter loves Hawaiian pizza but she would peel off the pineapple and guess where would the pineapple goes to? Yes, either to Ling's or my mouth.
Ling thought is so expensive to order from Pizza Hut and other home delivery pizza companies, why not a homemade pizza.  This way, she could control what goes into the pizza and saves on the cost as well.
Well, here it is ~~~  Ling's version of homemade ham and hotdog pizza with mozzarella cheese.
Hmmm yum yum. Her princess was over the moon when she found out what was for lunch today :)

Little Twin "Stars" Sandwiches

Once I got back home, I ate both fillings of ang ku kueh bought earlier. Yummy!
Full of inspiration (like real).....
My god-daughter and god-son were still sleeping, 2 days of school holiday.  I made Little Twin "Stars" sandwiches for both of them. They both woke up right after I have completed 2 kyaraben sandwiches.  What a good timing!

Bought these 2 Little Twin Stars lunch boxes early this year.

Chocolate Bread

Bought this chocolate bread from a neighbourhood bakery stall over the weekend.  It's soft and taste good but it's too plain for my god-daughter.
After school, the usual activities is to complete her homework.  "Boring" session for a active girl like her, so I made this simple sandwich for her "tea break".

"Sinful" Day

It's a "heavy meals" day from breakfast throughout dinner.
Breakfast @ Starbucks, lunch @ Burger King and we had dinner @ Carl's Jr (ECP) with our good friend, Karen & her family.
Planning for little "decent" food for tomorrow. LOL :)

Animal's Buns

Ling's mom made some sardine bun's someday ago. Everyone was raving about it.
So today, we tried out with various fillings (sausage, chesse, red bean paste, tuna, etc)
Ling added little details on the buns for the kids ~ Little piggy, mouse, bear & chicks. Our good friend, Diana made the chocolate dough into "rugby"!

The verdict? Everyone loves the cute buns but the dough is a bit hard.
Probably becoz we put in too much fillings (greedy!!!) and too little dough. Some of our mouse even "pooped" (too much filling) while we baked them.
We will keep that in mind, more dough & less filling the next time we bake.
At one glance, these buns look like Penang famous Tau Sa Piah.

Chocolate Cream Cheese Cake

Ling was browsing through recipes from the internet and came across Edith's "Previous Moments" blog http://preciousmoments66.blogspot.com which has positive reviews. Thanks Edith for the wonderful recipe!
The verdict? Simply delicious!
The cake turned out moist and soft. However, it's a bit "gooey" in the middle.
But that's probably due to the microwave oven. Yah, we dont have a proper electric oven. So now we have a good reason to get on :)
Ling said she will definitely make this again.
p/s: By the time, I posted this, Ling & hubby has bought a new oven! Yupee! More cakes experiments in the future!
